Country of Origin: USA
Production: Bentonite clay is formed from the weathering of volcanic ash, then carefully mined to keep out impurities out. The clay is subsequently kiln-dried, milled, and screened to size.
Qualities: Calcium Bentonite clay is a very fine, odorless, and powderlike product with a greenish tint. It is silica-based and colloidal in nature, meaning the particles suspended in liquid without breaking down or dissolving, and therefore do not get digested. Holding a high concentration of minerals such as silica, magnesium, iron, sodium, calcium, and potassium, Bentonite is widely used for both internal and external uses such as for detoxes and cleansing purposes. Bentonite is fairly unique in that it holds an electrical charge when in contact with liquid, therefore binding itself to other molecules, removing stains from hard surfaces and pulling toxins from a human body.
Common Use: calcium Bentonite clay is suitable for both external and internal use.- For a purifying homemade face mask, combine clay with honey or water until they become a paste, and apply generously to your face avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10-20 minutes and gently wash off with lukewarm water and your skin will thank you! You can also add ½ a cup to a hot bath.
- When ingested, food-grade Bentonite has a variety of cleansing properties, but must be approached cautiously. It has been known to stabilize gut bacteria, settle the stomach after vomiting or diarrhea, and assist with thyroid function and cancer cells.

Organic Tumeric Powder (Curcuma longa)
Botanical Name: Curcuma longa
Certified Organic
Origin: IndiaProduction: Our Turmeric is grown in the state of Odisha, in India. The whole turmeric fingers are harvested, cleaned and then dried in solar and/or electric dryers reaching a maximum temperature of 32 degrees celsius. It is then tumbled by machine for up to 6 hours, in order to remove the skin, a process called “double polished”. Once skins are removed, the turmeric is ground into powder. Turmeric root, also known as Indian saffron, or the “Spice of Life”, is the rhizome of an herbaceous perennial plant native to India, and is in the same family as ginger. The rhizome is used fresh, or dried then cut in chunks or ground into powder, and is used in many medicinal and culinary applications.
Qualities: Turmeric is considered a powerful antioxidant due to its curcumin content and its long list of health attributes including anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer, neuroprotective, immune balancing, and detoxifying properties. In Ayurvedic medicine it is also used topically to treat skin problems and infection and to relieve joint pain. Although curcumin can also be found in extract form, the advantage of turmeric as a whole herb is that it stays in the digestive tract longer, releasing curcumin along with other beneficial substances over more time, instead of passing through the system unnoticed by the body.
Common Use: As a spice, turmeric has been a staple in south Asian cuisines and is appreciated for its warm, peppery, and slightly bitter taste and strong yellow colour which can be incorporated in a multitude of recipes, including stir-fries, baked goods, smoothies, juices, teas, or taken in capsule form. It is recommended to consume Turmeric with a source of fat in order to increase absorption of its health properties as well as with a pinch of black pepper which contains Piperine, a natural substance that can boost the bioavailability of curcumin by 2000%. Organic Nettle Leaf (Urtica dioica)
Botanical Name: Urtica dioica
Origin: Albania / Croatia / Turkey / Bulgaria
Production: Nettle (aka stinging nettle) is a common botanical, native to Africa and western Asia. It has since become naturalized across the globe and can be found wild in many parts of the world. It grows in temperate climates, preferring shady regions with moist soil. Stinging hairs cover the live plant, helping to protect it from predation. When touched, the hairs cause stinging welts due to the content of formic acid. While the stings can be painful, they don’t last long and rarely cause serious harm.
After being picked, the acid deteriorates quickly and the stinging hairs begin losing potency within minutes. The harvested leaves are a favorite source of medicine and have also been used for centuries for food and fabric. The healing powers of nettle are well steeped in the folklore and traditions of various cultures.
Qualities: Nettle is considered a very nourishing herb, healing both internally and externally, supportive of women’s health and fertility, naturally detoxifying, and much, much more. The leaves offer a long list of essential minerals including iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium and many other nutritive components including formic acid, histamine, serotonin, choline, minerals, chlorophyll, amino acids, lecithin, carotenoids, flavonoids, sterols, tannins, and vitamins.
Common use: The leaves, commonly eaten steamed, steeped as a tea, takes as an extract, or encapsulated.
